to whoever said "this will work on ps3s like the ones in stores"...

from what i have read that is completely wrong, it will only work on PS3's designated as TEST given out to developers and people of that type of status with sony

I don't care if it doesn't run on my Ps3, I just hope they can start compiling some homebrew, imagine if they could get the PSP homebrew on it.

a leaked document together with this firmware brings many oppurtunities.

This means that now they can opn the files and see everything? Like now they can open a FW and check the files that gets flashed to the PS3, therefore now Devs are able to find weakspots and compare FWs and patches, right?

because as of now, its only working on debug machines.

guys this is not a custom firmware it is just a test firmware that is used for test(as squid said)
u can do nothing with this unless u know how to code or something like that
it is something that we should hope it makes hacks for ps3, and a good dev should handle this to make something fine to ps3

it won't install, so it can't brick, and it's far from custom firmware, it's a TEST firmware, in other words; IT'S LIKE A BETA FIRMWARE, the pre-release, that they used to add features too, and make sure the features work.
