Alright, now, this is awesome. We know most of our readers are most likely 100% Blu-ray loyal and probably didn’t even know HD DVD existed, but if you happen to own some HD DVDs because you were an early adopter or whatever, you may be happy to know that someone out there is willing to take your crappy HD DVD disc off your hands and upgrade you to a much nicer and superior Blu-Ray disc for a low fee of $4.95USD.

Now, Now, before you go all crazy and complain about the $5USD fee, you got to admit a $5USD upgrade fee is nothing compared to going out and buying the blu-ray copy of whatever movie you have on HD DVD. It’s a great deal! Unfortunately, you still have to pay for shipping but it’s still less than going to buy a blu-ray movie at your local Wal-Mart or Fry’s store. Now, excuse me, I got to upgrade my HD DVDs to Blu-Ray!
Note: This is only for HD DVDs from Warner Bros. – Wish more companies would do this, one can only hope!

Although i wont be able to take advantage of this, its still pretty sweet!
HDDVD is far superior to Shit-Ray so I’ll keep my discs thanks
superior means nothing if it’s dead
I fukd the xboxqueen!
Please explain its superiority…when i look at features, i see blu-ray come out ahead…
Data space: blu-ray
Scratch resistance: blu-ray
interactiveness: blu-ray
Still produced: blu-ray
blu-ray has BD-Java too, while I have yet to see it used for much, its nice to know its there, and if i ever get myself a blu-ray burner, you can rest assured i will see what it can do.
Where does HD-DVD come out ahead? Evidently no where, since this time the superior format won, unlike the VHS vs. Beta-max war…
VHS vs. Beta all over Again?
Both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs enable HDTV reproduction because of their massive storage capacities. Using dual-layer techniques, HD-DVD can store as much as 30 gigabytes of data while a Blu-Ray disc can pack in a whopping 50 gigabytes. In the lab, techies already are working on several-layered discs that could allow more than 100 gigabytes of storage on one disc. That’s enough for several HDTV movies, special features and compelling interactive content. Or a content provider could put more than 100 hours of standard-definition quality programming on one DVD. All 180 episodes of Seinfeld on one disc, anyone?… lol me neither. never mind the bollocks.
just visit usenet & get them ALL for free – suckers
Thanks for killing movies/tv shows by pirating them and not supporting the movies/shows.
Your right, the entertainment industry is so suffering right now…i have not seen a single new tv show or movie come out since usenet has been around…
how is hddvd better? moron
Hey dont bother urself with some stupid idoit who is technologicaly challenged lol. He is just a lonely guy who posts some controversy so that he will feel unique and may be get some ppl to talk to him. (PS: u r definetly unique my friend, all morons are)
So i got to say about this news is so long HD-DVD, and another 1 hit for Sony’s Blue-ray. IN YOUR FACE XBOX, ha ha
pixel rating is the same for hd dvd and blu ray just different

+ blu rays have more space ergo blu ray is better
would this offer be available in the UK if so that would be awesome
Warner back-stabbed HD DVD – they’re never getting a cent from me again – I pirate all of their productions. I happily pay for Sony material, as at least Sony didn’t back-stab!
