No, still no hacks — but welcome Home! (I just got my invite November 21st; thanks Sony!)
At first glance it’s quite nifty and rather entertaining; for a short while anyway… I’ve witnessed earlier betas and now it seems somewhat lacking… Right now it’s mostly mini games keeping the virtual world in orbit — pool, bowling, arcades, chess… There isn’t much else really: go to the theatre and watch some videos, check out the mall with all its empty stores, hit up the bompin’ bowling alley, where aside from bowling you can play the above mentioned pool and arcades, start or join different club houses, and my favourite — mackin’ the hotties (yeah, I’m looking at you Flygirl; what’s crackin?).
Any who, I could ramble on for a while… So for those less fortunate — check out the Home Beta v1.0 video courtesy of Mr.TurnSignal. I should quickly mention the chat system is pretty cool too.

ya I got my invite 2 HOME 2day, excited as shit right. Get in and there’s basically what u said, nothin 2 do. U can play a few games n swarm around virtual chicks who r prolly ugly as shit in real life n e way. Stores r empty, u can’t add n e thing 2 u’r apartment except like 7 kinds of wallpaper. They need 2 add things 2 do asap.

no, i didn’t get a beta code. am i disappointed? a little. but i’m not paying a bunch of money for a bunch of crap i don’t want. i’d rather wait until actual home comes out instead of being a beta tester because there’s no telling what people are able to do with this program. what if this is the way hackers are going to be able to finally get through? i know i don’t want to be vulnerable to any attacks.

I think the way PlayStation decided who got the invitations is if you downloaded the PS Home theme from the PS Store.
It was available a few months back.
Today im selling my PS3 and games and getting a 360 … if theres no fucking iso loader its not worth shit to me .. sry … so anyone interested in a european ps3 plus some games :D write
Just sale the PS3 and buy a Geforce 8 or 9 series+ dual core setup. Everything except Home, that has replay ability, is on PC coming this December.

If you get a home key make a new account and use that to get home then share account with everyone else so they can also download home beta. This is possible it has been tested all you have to do is download home then go onto ur original account and you can also play home. This however was not the case with the old beta testing as you had to be registered server side.

Like someone said earlier, the Beta really isn’t all that, its basically a seriously stripped down version. They really just need people to test the servers, to see how they handle the loads of users. Full version should be a lot better though. Heard it should be out by the end of the month or quarter into next month.
