No, still no hacks — but welcome Home! (I just got my invite November 21st; thanks Sony!)
At first glance it’s quite nifty and rather entertaining; for a short while anyway… I’ve witnessed earlier betas and now it seems somewhat lacking… Right now it’s mostly mini games keeping the virtual world in orbit — pool, bowling, arcades, chess… There isn’t much else really: go to the theatre and watch some videos, check out the mall with all its empty stores, hit up the bompin’ bowling alley, where aside from bowling you can play the above mentioned pool and arcades, start or join different club houses, and my favourite — mackin’ the hotties (yeah, I’m looking at you Flygirl; what’s crackin?).
Any who, I could ramble on for a while… So for those less fortunate — check out the Home Beta v1.0 video courtesy of Mr.TurnSignal. I should quickly mention the chat system is pretty cool too.
Another PS3 firmware update is released; firmware version 2.52. Eric Lempel shares the details on that –
