2 PS3s or not…. If that was a disc game, and he scrolls up and down… it will show a disc.
Go on the PS3, put a game disc in. Scroll and select the BD game in the XMB, scroll up and down. You will see that the game icon becomes a disc….
In the video, it remains the game icon at all times.

Well I was thinking the same thing about another PS3 being hooked up, But whenever I have a game loaded in the PS3 the Blu-ray Disk Icon shows before the actual game icon. It usually takes 1-2 seconds before showing what game I have in.
Very very true… He did start the game from the demo logo, and we all saw that he pushed the eject button…beep,beep,beep. i heard it. Fake or not it is a possible step forward.

I thought that as well, but on every TV that I have ever use there is some indication of an input change. Maybe this person found one without.

im hela hoping its real but wouldnt you need a bluray disc drive for the program to convert it. arent they hela expensive? the program probably works like the xdvdmulleter for the 360 but for PS3 bluray games.
Blu-ray drives aren’t that much. You can get a reader for around $150 and a burner for $300.
As for the video, I really do not want an ISO loader. I would love homebrew though because it would really open up the power of the PS3.

This should be wiped from the face of the earth, look what ISO loading did to PSP? By supporting this, you are basically saying you want the PS3 to be an unsafe platform for developers due to piracy.
So what? ISO made the PSP even more attractive for normal users. Sony makes a lot of money by selling the PSP and without ISOs and CFW Sony wouldn’t sell a number of PSPs as now. I personally bought my PSP for Homebrew, not for ISO, but there are many people buying a console if they know there is the POSIIBILITY to load ISOs and pirated games
Wurd, I was deployed in Iraq when the psp came out, I still have the old fat 1000 series (the first one). The only reason I bought it, (luckily from the BX on base… There were 3) Was because I saw the SNES emu available for it.
If it wasn’t for the homebrew/emu scene on the psp, I would have never bought one.
I’ve since bought like 4-5 games for it, UMD style. Not much but I use it for emu on the run.
True, i bought my PSP AFTER the fact that i found out how to put CFW on it, so did my brother, and a few other people i know that bought one, my cousin gave me the $ to buy a PSP and put CFW on it and give it to him, and even gave me an extra $30 for the effort…my cousin wanted it for NES on the go b/c he does alot of travel and loves his classic games like Contra and classic Final Fantasy since he didnt get into Final Fantasy until the PS1 games
Hey, only around 8% of the sold consoles including PSP are used with pirate warez or homebrew. These 8% would never be reason enough for sony to support homebrew. when they make big $$ selling original games. Personally I’m in that 8% category that only would bother with a console if it plays pirate warez…

I do not agree with you. I’ve completed around 80% of the games I get. And nowdays good ones come out so rarely that the week it takes to complete a game is well passed before the next one arrives… Add to that, I would only get the games that looks interesting for me. Even if they are free, I would not get crap. :) If I had to buy the games, I would not bother with it. There is better things to waste ones money on…

Hmm… I believe most people are like me, lets see.
I’ll download a movie/game/etc and see just how good it is.
If it’s crap, I delete it and never see it again.
If I really do like it, I will go out and buy a hard copy so that the money goes to the people that I feel deserve to have it.
I have no problem supporting anyone at their jobs if they make a really great product that I feel should be rewarded.
I make enough money to be able to buy hard copies of things that I love, by enabling ISO’s, it will let me test out these products and then let me go out and buy them if I deem necessary.

However, “what the”, there is not a demo released for every piece of software on the market, I would love to be able to download demos of every game on the market, LOVE it.
However, that’s not the case, and because a lot of software is in fact crap, the developers know this and will not release the demos.

You know why there is not a demo for every released game, because most of them suck. So they want you to buy it first, and throw it away after you given them your money, :)
Anyway, It’s not about if you got enough money or not. If it’s free it’s free. And sooner of later, it all goes into the garbage, either it’s a purchased software (game/movie) or a copy. I rather have it as a copy, at least I only loose 0.1$, :)
FYI, also note that buying second hand software is just as bad as copying it (for the creators).
ALSO NOTE, that the distibutors make far more money than any developer, developer hardly see anything more that their monthly pay check, and they will get this regardless how much little a game sells… (I know…)
2 things - why does he keep looking up and down?? he could have stood 3 feet back and done it in one shot. He also cuts out the left of the screen, which is where most t.v.’s have their input shown. It would be all too easy to swap inputs when he looks down to prove no disk. This would explain the sound off also - cause most some t.v.’s make a sound when swapping inputs….

the guy recorded himself playing the game (not hard to do) beforehand. then he loaded the demo, paused the camera, then played the video of the game on the tv. notice he never showed you the controller
