XMB inside of the PS3 games, not bad at all. After this is released, there are very few things to actualy make it better. The only suggestion I can come up with, is making ALL mp4’s compabile to watch. There are many video clips I have converted that work with the PSP that do not work with PS3. Has anybody turned their ps3’s into a windows type machine running on the core architecture… that baby would scream if some extra ram was added.
seeing as there is a working closed beta, i would say they plan to release it. do some research, you’ll find they plan to (from memory) release it officially towards the end of the year, but an open beta will be coming in a few months time.
Hi i may sound thick or missing something but im sure he was loading image files of a SD card this possible? Im sure thats a hack for sure. Im also so glad about the in game XMB access brilliant.
It’s a test/debug PS3. You don’t have to have the official stamped game. You use that SD card to get the game to boot. It’s like a key to the Debug because it is designed to be used before the games are released (before they are final and begin being produced)
i know it’s still possible that it’s fake, but when i saw the game in the background of the xmb, it seemed a lot more believable to me (i had to look close because it is pretty dark)

i’m just wondering for a video like this, why put a song, any song, in the first place? theres nothing wrong with hearing the ‘click-click’ of browsing through the XMB, or the game noise when ridge race was played. of course, theres always the possibility of the original video not having any audio in the first place.

Well, some games like Burnout Paradise can have the most horrible soundtrack ever, which would want to make you be able to listen to your music instead. Either way you can just plug in your headphones and listen to music that way… but thats like saying you can have a camera and a phone or you can have a camera phone. The more things you can have or do with fewer attempts of gaining them is what everyone is always looking for.
This video didn’t prove crap. How can you prove in-game XMB when u have a 5 minute song playing during the whole thing? I wanted to see the ability to access/change the music you listen to while playing a game, not some random wrong way driving on a crappy game…
well it was a debug machine anyway, so it’s definately not conclusive proof. Even if he had music(from the ps3), it could be easily faked quite easily. i think that all these rumors are stacking up to make a conclusive story, so i’m looking forward to the (rumored) June 18th release date

Because there isn’t enough power to “simulate” [emulate] the xbox360. The PS3 can’rt run PS3 and xbox 360 at the same time and that’s pretty much what you’re asking it to do when you emulate.

only ever download firmware by the PS3 system update, or by downloading the firmware file from SONY, not from any other website.
i did download and update from the ps3 but it still fucked up my blu ray.
