i think everybody is trying to download it. I made it up to 9% with P2P but after that i got a network problem and had to quit the game. I think nobody will be able to download the patch…

Ok i got the email with the code and put it in my ps3 and let the ps3 download the MGS4O Demo. And i installed the update. When monday comes around, what do i use for a konami ID? I already made one on their site (took forever) could i use that one? Or does the giveaway that i got provide a id to let me use?
I downloaded trhe game from the uk store no probs but nthe patch took 12 hours for me to download but i can not get my id as all i get is an unexpected error please try again later. I am all for beta but they should know that everyone wants it so should try to make it a lill less anoying for people

If you are having problems with speed on the p2p in XMB go to settings then network settings. Then click status and see what the IP of your ps3 is. Then go to your router and forward the port that your are going to use.
emilsghey is correct. i forwarded the port and the dl speed increased by 150

It doesn’t work for me. I created a konami id from the link chrislawrence posted. I live in canada. created 2 konami ids, one saying that i live in canada, another in the UK, doesnt work, says i cant connect. pain in the ass to download all that crap for nothing.

downloaded new patch 1.02 today and logged in with the konami id and then tried to log into my gamer id and i got farther this time instead of going straight to “unable to connect to server” it made some noises like a 56k modem and then told me after like 5 seconds “unable to connect to server” so idk but i know im mad

sorry for that comment…However the servers just check your IP VS your account. If you downloaded through European account and your ip comes back Canada lets say, you will not be able to play.
