Very cool, now I just need a Mac >_>
+1 ^_^
why not just use TVersity which is free?
it’s not for the mac. medialink is
whats mac?
HA dumbass
you know apple computers??? Mac?? Ring any bells
mmmm pero es solo para mac y para pc? que
there are various free programs that can achieve all that
Check out http://www.orb.com/orb/ for a great free way to stream anything on your pc to anywhere. Yes even to your PS3!!! If it’s free it’s for me… iTunes, eat your heart out!
yeah… uh, i dont have a mac, and if i did, i definatly wouldnt use shitty ass iTunes. proprietary bullshit. if you’re gonna spend a couple of bucks on a media streaming software, try TwonkyMedia. very easy to use and you can share anything. just tell it which folders or drives to share.
no- itunes is fine. I am going to try this one. all the halfassed “free” “solutions” can twonky off as far as i am concerned, none of them work well.
I have been waiting for a dedicated solution since i got my ps3 and if it works like it says it does then $20 is easily worth it.
my two cents
hiya everyone whats the best way to get hd mkv files from the pc to the ps3 and what is the best software to use to convert them files without losing the hd
This program is awesome! Much easier to use than expected. I had my PS3 at the XMB and installed MediaLink and i went back in the room with the PS3 to tell it to search for Media Centers, to my suprise, it already had it showing! I didn’t have to do ANYTHING (It was already on the wifi network) to the PS3 or my computer. I thought I was goin to have to rearrange files on my computer to get the PS3 to see them (being in multiple directories and all), but it found my MP3s, my Photo’s and my video’s….So nice to watch downloaded content on the TV wirelessly with such ease, Anyone with a Mac and a PS3 would be happy to have this…so worth the $20
Tversity works just fine!
i like simple center

Now lets get a good program for Linux!!!
winamp…free..all supported…pc friendly..autodetect…
Winamp, great for PCs…no version for Mac. That’s the point of Nullriver’s MediaLink, a MACINTOSH solution.
i’ll beter buy a game or two, for that king of money :)
not worth $20. ill wait til its get cheaper.
oh ya. it doesnt even work with Vista.
Windows OSes have tons of ways to do a media share with PS3, however until now, you had to jump through hoops to connect your mac to your PS3 (I never could get any other way to work and I’m very tech savvy).
Also, I doubt it’ll get cheaper than $20. I’m sure there’ll be a serial out for it soon like there was Connect360
Cool, a module for Amrok would be cool :D
Does the PS3 Supports SlimServer??

From what I’ve read, it does but it isn’t officially supported just yet. They are working on it though. However, this is only for Windows.
yes, i use it all the time no problems
Yeah…it works amazingly great… and you get 30 minutes for the free version..i can copy music and pictures to my ps3 wireless…very easy
Use Rivet. It’s way better than medialink
