if youd do a tiny bit of reading, you’d answer your own question.
Its basically researching proteins, which can involve millions and millions of calculations. The PS3’s Cell Broadband engine is very useful for this. I believe figuring out more about proteins will show how diseases affect the body, ultimately leading to a cure for some diseases. Also has to do a little with genetics when it comes to diseases which are passed down.
So what do you get ? Well, nothing up front, but your ‘donating to a good cause”. And really…those people that donate $5 or $10 bucks here or there are probly doing less than us to help cure cancer etc. . Medical research costs a couple bucks im sure.
jun, YOU don’t really benefit at all. unless maybe you get cancer or something many many years form now and F@H research has helped to find a cure for it…

I have a question.. does the streaming uploader work for uploading the images of ps3 games? i haven’t tried it.. and i figure a post in the forum would be the best place for a question like this.. I know you can up load the demos with this method.. but does it work for the game images?.. i’m sorry i can’t hack and help the cause, but we need to make some progress here
