This mod could actually work on any console — the 360 or PS3.

Ok where do I begin.. I wanted a guitar with a LCD so you can see the chords pass by your hand as you are playing so what I did was take a 7″ LCD and place it into the guitar. Well now I needed some way to get the video from the PS3 to the guitar and the big tv at the same time. So the solution to this was to take a video controller board and hack into pieces to fit it inside the guitar.
Seeing as that was not enough and because the LCD took up the space where the strumer resided and there was no way to strum the guitar I decided to add a magnetic switch under the body to allow me to play the guitar with a magnetic pic.
nice work guys.. but honestly i was waiting for any news regarding any damn mod chip or a blue ray duplicating ray of light… im getting the feeling this will never happen…

ohhh.. why didnt i think of that!!! i should use my super coding skills or my magic wand would do!!! what do you mean JUST… i mean i dont know about the rest of people here but i sure dont have the skills to dig inside of the ps3!!! and yes ill keep on complaining untill i get anything good like a damn NVIDIA driver or way to play the ps2.. at the end of the day its people like me who nag alot end up saying thankx to people like dax on daily bases…

Anyone else think this is a bit pointless? I mean he says he put it in to watch the chords pass by so he could play easier, but did anyone actually watch him look down when he was playing? All i saw was him doing exactly what the rest of us do.. nothing special AT all.
well I suppose I could make a video of me sitting down and playing but it woud be terribly hard to record. but my goal was not to show what it is used for but the it worked :D
i think its class. a good idea. but maybe have the screen smaller and nearer the buttons or something.

i wish they could bring something out with like strings on it or light rays or something. that would be cool. but i supose teh closer you get to an actual guitar you may as well just get a guitar lol
