Even though the game absolutely sucks, Lair truly demonstrates how dope Sony’s Remote Play functionality is.
Lair being the first PS3 title supporting “Remote Play” allows you to play the actual game while out ‘n about. Of course graphics and such are down-sampled so the network response time is faster. But it’s still playable.
Some are even saying the game responds/controls better using the PSP analog stick VS. the PS3 SIXAXIS controller.
Too bad there’s no homebrew for the PS3, yet… PSP/PS3 homebrew utilizing Remote Play would be interesting.
Gotta give it to Sony for this one!

The game doesn’t suck at all, it just gets some getting used to. I’m glad I didn’t listen to reviews and got the game anyway.
I plan on renting it. I can see how it’d be lame using sixaxis. Not a huge fan. Not a fan of rumble either. If you wanna move your controller around then get a Wii x_x
i agree with me . lol.. i hate using the sixaixs controller motion sensor. but i liked rumble and would much prefere it. the motion sensor, mostly becuase if hte shape of the controller, is to annoying to move and a waste of time.
not true. sixaxis motion controls works excellently with motion control. Its brilliantly responsive AND frees up the other controls. so arse.

honestly that game must be realy crap :)
just shows the sixaxis sux. sony should make some improvements there aswell. 1.80>1.90>1.92 who cares. They have seem to forgot about the games.

It doesn’t look that bad to me… at least the frame rates are pretty smooth. But I wonder how Remote Play would handle the L2 and R2 buttons?

You may have a problem with your psp system. I have 3 of em, a black psp I bought in America, a silver thin psp and a blue japanese psp, which I almost never use. The black one will not connect to the PS3 ever since I updated to the new 1.92 firmware on the PS3, but the PSP_Slim and PSP-Blue both connect without a problem. I do admit to messing around with the firmware on the Black one, probley a bit too much, i’ve updated/downgraded that thing at least 40 or 50 times in experiments…. mabye thats why?!?
The PSP needs to be connected via USB to link up the two… maybe thats your problem
