Codebreaker on PS3 1.80? is this old news?

Apparently no one knows about this but now you can use codebreaker if you have the firmware 1.80. Just thought I’d let everyone know, I found out when I was looking if there was a fix and someone talked about a lower firmware worked before, so I thought “Might as well try now.” and it worked. The only problem is I can’t get the internet conection or have it recognize my psp. Oh and does anyone have a codebreaker save with a bunch of codes that they could post?

so who is continuing his work? or is he still working on it? hm…was he working on ps3 firmware as well? if so how do i get progams to write my own stuff and test things out? is there any other site’s that have news on ps3 hacking?

yeah he quit hacking the PSP because he was afraid of the PS3 lawsuits that Sony was threatening with. What I noticed, when I read the agreement for the one and only update I did on my PS3 (1.00 to 1.02), it seemed like there was a lot of stuff inserted into the update agreement that I didnt see before on the PSP update agreements. A lot of legal shit giving them the right to take people to court over reverse engineering and modifying the system. I think Dark Alex might have been justified to stop working on the PS3, but he may have been safe to carry on his work with the PSP.

i really hope the homebrew picks up for this soon. it just seems so wrong to have the updates become the main and only headline on a hacks site…and for people to be all excited and treating it like homebrew.

I was having a little difficulty with the video stream thing so I decided to do some research and found the solution to my problems in the playstation.com forums…. If any1 is interested in streaming movies Avis,Xvids etc.. to their ps3s just go to this link (OHH btw.
