A forum post at afterdawn.com has a detailed step by step tutorial on how to create a swap switch to boot ps2 backup games.
I wanted a fairly easy way to play my PS2 backups on my PS3. I have read that you can do it by taking apart your PS3 and cutting a hole in the top and yadayada. Leaving the top off of my PS3 to play PS2 backups didn’t sound attractive to me. So i searched around and found a forum for PS2 talking about a tray switch for the fat PS2’s back in the day.
This is similar to the PS3 Swap Magic Hack hack found in our own forums
2 quick notes.
#1 swap magic is not needed at all unless you need to convert pal video to ntsc
#2 works with any firmware so far (untested 1.54)

thats right the big deal here is the ISO LOADER scene but not now because sony is loosing the battle of 3 gen maybe in 2008 ps3 will put the others consoles feel like a game boy near her because the most stupid thing i heard is the comparation betwen ps3 and wii in my opinion the only reason why wii sells more than ps3 its beacuse the babys love it… but the fact is the truth gamers im sure they prefer ps3 with any doubt…
one more thing im 28 years old and im a gamer since my 12yrs old and i can tell anyone there i never feel so much pleasure in games like the hours i spent playing in my ps3 so thank you sony to show the world how human brains are so powerfull

I dont like this because it still requires me to do open heart surgery on my $650 baby….. I refuse to experiment with something so precious….. I already have a modded Ps2 Anyways…. At least its a start.. 1st Ps2 backups… Then Ps3 not bad….

What the hell u talking about, it don’t load PS3 backups.
It does work with ps3 backups BUT the backup has to be on disk (and the disks are about £10 each :-( )

Does anybody already burned PS3 backups on Discs? Dual Layer Disc? I Think that the Iso Loader will be ready by the end of the year.

Dont you people relize that a ISO loader is worthless, Sony will just put updates on all the new games so you cant play the game unless you update. So Paradox need to go on vacation like they have been since dec 2006…….
