Everybody starts out at the bottom, and learns new things throughout life. Even you would have had a time where you knew nothing at all about technology (and that is probably still the case, i don’t know). To be able to learn something, you have to had not known anything about it at all.

So really, your comment of calling him a noob has no meaning. Really, all you are saying is that he is a human being, who doesn’t know the proper spelling of Linux. I know a lot of people who don’t even know what Linux is, let alone how to spell it. And you would have been in the same situation as them at one point as well.

Nobody is born knowing all; life is how we learn new things.

So overall, you calling him a ‘noob’ holds no meaning at all. It is simply calling him a human being, learning new things in life, just as all human beings do.
