Apparently a well-known developer by the name of naoneo is working on her very own PS3 ISO Loader — FERROX! She has released a video demonstrating its supposed authenticity… Nothing more has surfaced for the moment, but on a brighter note, it is reported to work on ALL firmware versions — up to 1.51; thanks to a security vulnerability in the PS3’s Hypervisor.
Again, this should be treated as pure speculation, at least until something concrete and usable is released to the public. Nevertheless — time well tell!

Time will not tell, people will. JK, idk, right now, you would have to get like 10-15 games to make it worth it. I mean, about 700$ for a burner, and about 10-15$ a blu-ray disc. It will only get lower! IDC, i’m going to try to keep my ps3 virgin.
if it loads from HDD u wouldnt need to have a blu-ray burner or spend lots for disks.

Its ment to be fake. But paradox’s isnt gonna be worth it ..only works on 1.32 as of now which means no online play. Buy the games and wait untill a proper ISO loader is developed, not like the PSP with all this Firmware emulation. Least the 360 was hacked properly.
you obviously haven’t been checking the scene as far as the psp is concerned, have you? Dark Alex’s SE firmwares (currently 3.03 SE-C) do away with the firmware emulation used previously by devhook. 3.03 SE-C can load isos, run homebrew, plugins and using popstation you can play backups of your old PSX games off the memory stick without using a PS3 to do so all under 3.03 firmware.
I am fortunate enough to own a PS3 and XB360, and I just wish they would stop talking about vids of the iso loaders and release them already. If Sony now know about a hole in the hypervisor, they’re gonna patch it anyway whether its released now or 12 months later.
And if the 360 was hacked properly, we’d be running homebrew by now and isos from the hard drive. A drive firmware hack is a weak excuse for a true hack. I don’t mean to diss the people who worked on the drive hacks (in fact i thank them), but even they know for the 360 to be truly hacked, is to be able run unsigned code, like the PSP. And we all know drive hacks serve only one purpose, and don’t tell me everyone makes backups of their “legit” copies they supposedly own…

Natedog, 25GB(single layer)50GB(dual layer), thats how much that a blu-ray disk can hold at MAX.It does not mean that each ps3 game should be 50gb big. i think a ps3 game should be about 10 to 15 gb big but who knows.

Ps3updates says its fake simply because the video disappeared. Now that the videos back, where’s their comments? They never said it wasn’t possible, only that it looks fake because the video dropped off youtube.

I would like a solid release in march, but i can’t wait till then, i need to be able to load isos now. if ferrox will release theirs now and paradox later that’ll be fine. it has been enough time to crack this machine. Keep the updates comming.

This video wasnt released by Sony to get you to update. sony is a multy million dollar company, you think they have time to do false advertising to fool some hardcore no life gamers? Im not saying this is real, just that its not a phosted by Sony. Update or not, we will all be able to play ripped games one way or another regarless of wich firmware is being used. In the near future we will encounter a universal hack for the PS3. Just like the PS1 and its followers. Unlike the PSP, the PS3 is a far more superior system and has a higher demand and recognition ratio. What this means is that there are a larger and more sufisticated number of hack engineers working on hacking this console.
First of all, Elasu’s point is that there is no fucking FERROX iso loader and that its fake. I’ll believed it when FERROX uploads it.
I dont think its sony, but it could be possible that their trying to get people to buy the ps3’s that they have stock piled. They are rich, but you also have to realize that they are losing money on each PS3s that they make right now.
