Sony certainly won’t let up — firmware 1.51 is now available via Network Update on your PS3 console.
Nothing worthwhile really… According to their website the support for PLAYSTATION®3 format software titles has been expanded.

Since there is nothing worthwhile downloading online, I might just hold off a bit on this one… Even though I Love playing Call of Duty 3 and NBA 2k7 Online, I feel something huge is coming to the ps3 homebrew scene.. DAMn SONY is desperately trying to prevent hackability soooooo badly.. lol
yes i feared it was a security update probably to prevent the iso loader or sumthing.
But i dont want to not be able to play resistance and call of duty online.
Hey guys check this guy out… He claims to be running Ps2 backups on the Ps3 through “another OS”…. But i’ve done some research and to run ps2 backups so far the only way is to dissect the ps2.. So what you guys think?? HOAX or not???????

You cant see him put the disc in so u cant tell if it was that disc he had on the floor he probably switched it when then camera was facing towards the tv.

1.51 is fine for me. you have to update to go online and im playing resistance fine with 1.51
I only play finalfantasy 12 on my ps3. all day. everyday. I got home today and updated my firmwere from 1.50 to 1.51. I could tell right away that they load time is cut almost in HALF! the game is a bit crisper and it true widescreen now.
Damn… Im now forced to update after what I’ve just read.. Apparently the new update fixes screen stretching problems and support for certain game formats have been added SHIIIIIIIIITTTTT… I didnt wanna update but here I go…
In 1.51 it looks like you can change your icons under video.

Those fake videos are soo facken stupids as the guys that made it , for example The wiiloader , that was a damn shit , is the same that if you go 1 wii conected to the tv and the other one (the one that they show you) just to the light , then they put the original disc in the wii behind the camera , and the other wii they put a shity disc at the same time soo it look that way but just a FAKE

that’s exactly what i was thinking for the ps3 video…. have two ps3’s hooked up to the same tv and have the hidden one fucken playing the original copy of the ps2 game and have the camera on the ps3 that has the burned ps2 disc not hooked up. simple hoax. doesnt prove shit.

Unless it has support for DIVX, I won’t bother. I’m still at 1.1 and can play PS2 games on it already. I will wait until AFTER the hd loader (if ever) is released to the scene.
