PS3 Sixaxis Controller LED Mod

This is the first Sixaxis mod I’ve seen for the PS3. A fellow by the name of M37R01D has successfully modified the controller’s LEDs, as shown below. You’ll also notice the addition of a 5th matching LED. Very cool stuff!

Yeah, very pretty. Hopefully some helpful instructions will start popping up one of these months. I tried to mess around with the LEDs on a broken controller but failed horribly =(

tight work. i just got a ps3 on friday. cant wait to see if custom firmwares and some other goodies that r made for the psp pop up. considering the xmb is basically the same.

i read somewhere that the ps light is normally lit on but mine isn’t .is that normal??
Should their be a light when you turn it on??

I did the same thing the first day i got it the top 4 has assorted colors ligt blue,orange,yellow,green and the PS button i put in a purple LED isnt that cool? well i think it is, took about 2 days for me though i also got my finger burned by the smoldering iron but its worth it! :)
