Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. announced the other day that they will be launching the PlayStation 3 (PS3) in early November 2006 – in Japan, North America and Europe! Aside from that, the PS3 will also incorporate the final Blu-ray Disc (BD) specs.

Yes of course! I mean one being Blu-ray two being Sony’s answer to 360. There going to sell out for sure no doubt…even if there is a 1000 price check on it. Most of us gamers on here dont have that kind of money but people will pay for it no joke…sony isnt that stupid to have a 1000 price on it. one big thing tho is that its a worldwide release…meaning that everything is out at one time so if they only make 1 mil units that will be shipped everywhere at one time = shortages. i guarentee that there will be shortages especially with a Nov release! i work at best buy i know its going to go down believe me
I read somewere that they are going to make 1million consoles each month for first 6 months and that the console will be region free like the psp, that is why they are able to bring it out everywere at the same time. But they are still expected to sell out so im going to buy 2 and sell one on ebay. I did it with the 360 and made loads you all should try it.

ok firstly can all you xbox loser go away this is our ps3 site not ur xbox360 crap news. ok here is wut i knwo about the ps3: the controller is now being redesigned (an official spokesperson from sony confimed this), also the ps3 come with 60gb harddrive much better than to 20gb that the 360 had. Also the ps3 has a much better proccesor and grpahics card than the 360. Also sony’s stocks and shares are not dropping anymore since they released a lot of information about the ps3 just 2 months ago, in fact they r rising. the ps3 will include an xbox live killer online play (as stated by an xbox 360 magazine and ps3 magazine). The ps3 will also include fully wireless internet already inside the console so u dont need to buy any internet pack to play. It will also include 7 wireless controllers much better than the 4 that the 360 has. The blu-ray driver is backed by hollywood so all the new movies will soon be on blu-ray no dvd or hd-dvd. The PS3 has an official release dat of november everyone and is shipping 1 million consoles to each country for 6 months. ps3 also has more manufacturing warehouses than the xbxo360 did so there will be no shortages. thus proving the ps3 is the ultimate console!
