The PS2 when it started out, was overpriced, and there weren’t that many good games out for it, it wasn’t until about a year and a half later, when the good games came out, that it brought out the PS2’s potential. And many (including me) think the same will happen to the PS3, frankly, the games out for the PS3 are shit, the Gaybox, sorry, XBox ( :P ) is better in that situation, and it’s graphical quality is roughly the same as the PS3’s, currently.

But now that prices are dropping on the PS3, more games are coming out, the developers are getting used to the SDK, the PS3 is becoming increasingly more popular (of course with Nintendo currently owning the title of #1 most selling console for this generation, Sony has a long way to go yet…), so don’t put the PS3 down yet, it will rise from the ashes, and once again, put the one person staff of Microshit’s thinkers to work again :)

(Oh, you might have noticed my extremely biased opinion on the Gaybox, errr, XBox. But I do admit, Microshit did well on their little Gaybox, it has surprisingly alright graphics, along with some nice games (nothing to brilliant), and overall, it IS a good console. I just support the PS3, for it’s potential with it’s processor, I don’t think any of the current PS3 games have mastered that yet.

(Also, that SDKH is HUGE!!!! Is that really what they’re using?))

now for the difference xbox 360 has the unified shader and 16x anti aliasing on the 10 mb edram and 512 mb ram to be used for cpu and gpu. ps3 will be better with physics. ps3 and xbox 360 graphics will look pretty much the same they both use power pc processors. the ps3 may have slightly better sound when connected to home theater.

xbox 360 has more potential though with the unishader and 512 total ram ps3’s says 256.

as for the games all the ps3 will have for a while is a couple exclusives that will sell well. but with sony all you get is sequels with revamped features and better graphics but still same shit different graphics.

with xbox 360 most of their games are good especially on hdtvs supporting 720p and most of the games arent sequels but games with new ideas and are very fun gameplay wise.

all i have to say is if resident evil 5 is also released for ps3 we will see what differences in graphics there is.

but as for graphics they will be pretty close. with fmvs sony ps3 will probably have nicer looking ones.

sonys list of games so far isnt very appetizing right now gran turismo grand theft auto devil may cry and tekken are all played out.but the japanese will go crazy for the stuff anyways.

if ps3 had more then 4 or 5 decent games coming in the first 4 months i might buy one but i will wait for a price drop.
